So if you add a "add pause" button even if its for a few milli seconds it will either do a kamehameha or if held down (if you have added in a "release zone" after the "add pause" and after the key) it will do a super kamehameha. The problem was if I added in loads of keys to one button it would always use the first value so if X was kamehameha then if you held it for longer it turned into Superkamehameha it would always just do the Kamehameha first even if you held it down (This must have something to do with the way dbo interprets the keys). So I started looking into the advanced settings on Xpadder when assigning Values to the Buttons and I found the "Add pause" feature on Xpadder. Also talking is not possible on the controller unless you use the Xbox Keypad to add on to your handset? I have not tried that but it could work. but I do) then I would have to use the keyboard. Plus if I wanted to use the inventory, map or check my power level (for god knows why. I use to have attack buttons, then super attack buttons then negative effects buttons then power up buttons! That's 4 menus to deal with and memorize and unless your some kind of rain man then you are not going to get very far using too many menus. I had trouble with setting up a system that worked well. The problems I came across using Xpadder. All you need to do is open Xpadder with admin rights first then open dbo with admin rights. Its really simple and I know you will be kicking yourself. Right for those who have Xpadder but cant use it with DBO. its a great tool for any game that has rubbish controller support and it lets you customize it the way you want!īTW the website looks a little crap in my opinion but check out the reviews for this software and I promise I am using it and I am not hacked or losing money from Jonathan because I used paypal to pay for the software (Plus hes probs not out to scam you)! So heres a link to Xpadder you really should download it. Then if I am still in the attack mode (Pressed LB from normal buttons) if I hold the RB button then all the buttons change value again to my power ups. Then Right is pick up loot, and down is rp charge. Up are sudden stun and Energy Weaken (Or whatever its called). Left is Speed Drain and if I hold left it turns into sleep. My normal buttons are when I am just roaming around so I have the C button to check my gear, I for inventory and M for Map ect ect.īut if I press LB it changes the value of the buttons and turns my A, X and Y buttons into my three kamehamehas and my B button into Spirit Ball, Spirit Rod and Turtle rod (I will explain how to do that soon). My set up works like this, I have a normal buttons. I use it on my turtle and I have lots of skills but you can stack skills on one button which works great for buffs and negative effects that do similar things so you can remember where everything is. You will not be able to chat unless you are using voice chat with friends and guild members but I sit next to my keyboard anyway and just use the controller for fighting and when I want to tack I use the keyboard. Now you may be thinking that it will be extremely difficult to do but it is really really easy and works just as well as having a keyboard if you can config your keys good enough. It works by assigning keys to each button on your controller I personally use the Xbox 360 wired handset which works great for this game. Xpadder takes over your keyboard and instead of working with a controller enabled game it can work with all games including dbo! I have searched the forum and people have spoken about Xpadder but non have worked out how to use it for dbo (I could be wrong about that but I cant see anyone talking about it). A controller that will connect to your computer via USB or bluetooth. For playing DBO on a controller you need.ġ.
